Mahantesh Mukartihal

Mahantesh Mukartihal currently serves as the CIO and Global Head of Payments and Liquidity Technology at Wells Fargo, a position held since September 2025. Prior to this role, Mahantesh accumulated over two decades of experience at Citi, where various titles included Managing Director for Global Head of Securities Services Technology, Payments and Receivables Technology, and TTS Trade Operations and Technology, as well as Associate Consultant focused on software development. Mahantesh also engaged in Executive Education at INSEAD in 2017, specializing in strategy, innovation, and digital practices. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Finance and IT from IBS Hyderabad, completed in 2001.
