Prakash Upreti

Prakash Upreti is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in the banking and financial services sector. Currently serving as the Head of Consumer Technology for Wells Fargo in India and the Philippines since December 2018, Prakash oversees a wide range of products including home, auto, personal lending, credit card, and payments services, along with tech modernization initiatives. Prior roles include Global Head of Technology for Global Payments at HSBC and Head of Payments and Transactions at ANZ. Prakash Upreti's career also includes significant positions at NatWest Group and Dell, focusing on transaction banking and high-value payment systems, along with earlier roles in software engineering and technology leadership at various firms. An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, Prakash holds a degree in technology.
