Ericka Powell

Ericka Powell, MD FACEP, currently serves as the Medical Director of the Emergency Department at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital since October 2017. Previously, Ericka held the position of Emergency Department Medical Director at St Joseph Hospital from September 2014 to June 2017. Ericka's extensive experience includes serving as the Medical Director for Emergency Services at Heart of Lancaster and Lancaster Regional System, Medical Director for LRMC, and Physician Recruitment Champion at EmCare from June 2004 to August 2014. Ericka completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University from 2001 to 2004 and earned a medical degree from Temple University - Lewis Katz School of Medicine from 1997 to 2001. Educational background also includes a degree from Franklin & Marshall College, with earlier studies at the University of California, Berkeley, and The Grier School.
