Michael Ridinger, MBA, RN, BSN has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Michael currently serves as the Vice President- Oncology Service Line & Diagnostic Service Line at WellSpan Health. Prior to this, they worked at WVU Medicine- WVU Cancer Institute as an Associate Director, where they were responsible for the financial, administrative, and operational management of the institute and the Section of Hematology Oncology.
Before joining WVU Medicine, Michael held positions at UPMC, where they served as the Director of Administration and Clinical Operations and later as the Senior Manager of Clinical Operations. In these roles, they were responsible for overall operations management, fiscal management, planning, quality management, and patient satisfaction.
Michael also gained experience in the manufacturing industry as the Vice President of Operations and Business Development at Protective Utility Gear, Inc. Additionally, they worked as an Independent Contractor-Agency Field Consultant at State Farm, where they led operational efforts to identify and introduce new market options.
Michael began their career at UPMC as a Clinical Manager, where they led the clinical operations of multiple outpatient cancer centers and played a key role in designing new facilities.
Michael Ridinger has a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from La Roche University, which they obtained from 2017 to 2019. In addition, they hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General from Seton Hill University, earned between 2002 and 2004. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General at Geneva College, from 2000 to 2002. Furthermore, Michael Ridinger holds an Associate's Degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Westmoreland County Community College, completed from 1992 to 1995.
