Michele Mummert

Michele Mummert has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Michele started their career at DENTSPLY International as a Clinical Education Meeting Planner in March 2001 and worked there until October 2008. During their time at DENTSPLY, Michele held various roles, including Manager of Professional Services and Senior Manager of Corporate Communications & Public Relations.

In 2015, Michele joined WellSpan Health as a Senior Practice Manager and worked there until 2017. In this role, they were responsible for managing the operations of a healthcare practice.

From 2017 to 2019, Michele served as the Program Director for Vulnerable Populations at WellSpan Health. In this position, they led and supported projects and initiatives to improve care for vulnerable populations.

In 2019, Michele joined UPMC Pinnacle as a Director of Ambulatory Operations, a role they held until November 2019. Michele then returned to WellSpan Health as the Senior Director of Community Health.

Throughout their career, Michele has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a commitment to improving healthcare delivery and community well-being.

Michele Mummert received a B.A. in Organization Management from Eastern University in 2005. Michele then pursued an MBA in Business Administration from Penn State University, graduating in 2009. In 2006, they obtained the Certified Meeting Professional certification from the Convention Industry Council. Later, in 2013, they acquired the Accredited Business Communicator (ABC) certification from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).
