Mick Murphy

Mick Murphy is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in healthcare IT leadership. Currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at WellSpan Health since November 2010, Mick provides strategic direction to enhance health through information technology and delivers exceptional customer service. Previous roles include Chief Technology Officer at Sisters of Mercy Health System, where Mick oversaw project implementations and developed an enterprise service bus, and Manager at Southwest Airlines, responsible for introducing new technologies to a large development team. Earlier experience also includes serving as a Software Architect at Nortel Networks, focusing on IP telephony. Mick holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy from Duke University.
