Markus Wittebo

Markus Wittebo has a comprehensive background in the medical device and pharmaceutical industry. Markus is currently the Head of Global Medical Affairs at Wellspect HealthCare since January 2019. Prior to that, Wittebo owned and worked as an independent consultant at MEDAFF AB, specializing in life science. Markus has extensive experience in clinical research, medical affairs, and R&D, with skills ranging from strategy development and operations management to compliance and process optimization. Wittebo has also held various leadership positions at Mölnlycke, including Global Clinical Research Director and Clinical Operations Manager in the Wound Care Division. At Organon, they served as a Global Clinical Development Team CRA and Clinical Research Associate. Throughout their career, Wittebo has been involved in a wide range of studies and programs, focusing on multiple indications such as hormone therapies, CNS, and inflammatory diseases.

Markus Wittebo attended the University of Gothenburg from 1996 to 2002, where they earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Pharmaceutical BioScience. Markus later returned to the University of Gothenburg in 2004 and 2005 to pursue a second MSc degree, this time in Pharmacy.
