Steve Cooper

Steve Cooper is an experienced educational leader and sports professional with a diverse background in teaching, coaching, and management. Currently serving as Assistant Principal at Wellspring Academy Trust since January 2021, Steve has held multiple roles including Head of Centre for Alternative Provision and Deputy Head. Previously, Steve contributed to Grimsby Town Football Club as a BTEC Tutor and Academy Coach while also serving as Chairman and Head Coach at Evolution JFC, a female football club aimed at fostering opportunities for girls in sport. With a solid foundation in primary education from Sheffield Hallam University and extensive involvement in various educational and sports roles, Steve has demonstrated a commitment to promoting learning and athletic development through positions such as Teaching Assistant, Director of Learning, and Sports Coordinator across several institutions.
