David A. Jones

David A. Jones serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Wellstar Health System since January 2019. With an extensive background in human resources, Jones previously held significant leadership roles, including Vice Chair of the Civil Service Board for the City of Oakland and Senior Vice President of National Human Resources at Kaiser Permanente. Jones also served as Vice President of Human Resources/Chief Human Resources Officer at Stanford University and System Vice President of Employee & Labor Relations at Dignity Health. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws in Labor and Employment Law from Georgetown University Law Center, a Juris Doctor from Howard University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts from Morehouse College, among other advanced leadership programs.
