Rosa Gomez

Rosa Gomez, BS, currently serves as the Program Coordinator for the Transitional Year Residency Program at Wellstar Health System, a position held since February 2017, where responsibilities include assisting in program development, coordination, and administration, as well as managing residency recruitment and selection processes. Prior experience includes an Administrative Assistant role at Children's Orthopaedics of Atlanta from January 2016 to February 2017, providing support to orthopedic surgeons and managing student rotations and residency programs. At WellStar Atlanta Medical Center, Rosa held two positions from May 2012 to January 2016, first as an Administrative Assistant in the Graduate Medical Education department and later as a Program Coordinator for the Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program, overseeing resident administration and collaborating on program issues. Rosa holds a Bachelor of Science in Business - Health Management from Western Governors University and an Associate of Occupational Studies from The Wood Tobe-Coburn School.
