Tashia Williams is an experienced healthcare professional with a strong background in medical coding and billing. Currently serving as the Medical Coder Team Lead at Piedmont Urgent Care since October 2020, Tashia previously worked as a Billing/Coding Specialist at Peachtree Immediate Care and held various roles at Piedmont Healthcare, including Front Office Coordinator and Front Office Assistant II. Earlier in the career, Tashia gained experience as an Insurance Verification Specialist at The Primary Care Center and as an Insurance Follow Up Representative at Patient Financial Services. Tashia holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from Kaplan University, a certification in Medical Billing and Coding from Ultimate Medical Academy, and an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science, Medical Assistant from Miller-Motte Technical College.
