Jad Santos

Jad Santos has an extensive work experience in various technology roles. Jad is currently working as the Director of Engineering at Wellth since April 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at 9 Count, Inc. where they managed a geographically distributed team and implemented improvements in knowledge sharing, code quality, and infrastructure cost reduction. Jad co-founded and acted as the CTO of Mangamo, a mobile app for reading manga, from March 2019 to January 2022. In addition, they worked as a Senior Engineering Manager at Honey and held multiple positions at Amazon, including Senior Software Development Manager for Prime Video and Alexa Experiences and Devices. Before that, Jad worked as the Senior Director of Systems Development at Fandango, where they led a team of programmers in developing scalable and high-quality applications. Jad also worked as a Freelance Programmer, specializing in web development and SEO, and as the VP of Development at TechEmpower, where they handled architectural design and technical sales. Their career started at Internal & External Communications (IEC), where they built e-learning software for corporate clients.

Jad Santos earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with Magna Cum Laude honors from Loyola Marymount University, from 1991 to 1995.
