Michael Ferry

Michael Ferry is Senior Vice President, Head of Global Development at Welltower Inc. and leads the Company’s development activities across senior housing, wellness housing and outpatient medical. Mr. Ferry joined the Company in August 2020.

Prior to joining Welltower, Mr. Ferry spent nine years at DDG, a real estate investment and development firm, most recently serving as Chief Operating Officer. As COO, Mr. Ferry held extensive responsibilities including oversight of development operations across markets and working closely to integrate the firm’s capital markets, design and construction platforms. Prior to his tenure at DDG, Mr. Ferry worked in the New York office of Hines where his responsibilities included underwriting new business as well as managing existing office and multifamily projects.

Mr. Ferry holds a BA from Bates College and MBA from Columbia Business School.
