Sion Hau

Sion Hau is a Ventures Associate at Plug and Play Tech Center, focusing on investments in early-stage tech startups across MENA since October 2021. Additionally, Sion serves as a Ventures Analyst at Wellx and as an Investor for both Global Women in VC and Ciba Health. Previous roles include coordinating the return to in-person education at New York University Abu Dhabi, conducting research at the Ramadi Lab for Advanced Neuroengineering and Translational Medicine, and working as a Teaching Assistant for microbiology courses with the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth. Sion's early career included internships in biotech and medical operations, and participation as a Leader of Tomorrow at GapSummit 2020. Sion holds a degree in Biology, Brain and Cognitive Science from New York University Abu Dhabi, as well as a designation from the Kwong Lee Dow Young Scholars Program at the University of Melbourne.
