Mark Onyango

Mark Onyango is an experienced professional in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL), currently serving as the MEAL Manager for the Welthungerhilfe Iraq Country Programme since January 2020. Responsibilities include ensuring high-quality project implementation, leading evaluations, and managing project accountability systems. Previously, Mark held roles such as MEAL Coordinator for the Global Resilience Programme, Research Consultant at Marie Stopes International, and Programme Officer for the Better Migration Management Programme at Samuel Hall. Additional experience includes a MEAL Officer position at the Danish Refugee Council and earlier roles in research and data analysis with various organizations. Mark holds a Master of Science in Population Studies, a Master of Arts in Economics, a Bachelor of Economics and Statistics, and a professional certification in Monitoring and Evaluation from the Kenya Institute of Management.
