Mauricio Bueno's work experience includes co-founding various companies and serving in different roles. Mauricio is currently the co-founder of Bud and Weme, where they serve as a board member and co-founder respectively. Prior to this, they worked at Galileo as a co-founder and at Weme as a chief product officer, general partner, and design director. Mauricio has also been a co-founder and board member at Libri and an advisory board member at Guide121. Earlier in their career, they worked as a marketing intern at Bosch and as a designer at C&M Propaganda.

Mauricio Bueno has a diverse education history. Mauricio earned their Bachelor's degree in Social Communication, with a focus on Marketing and Advertising, from ESAMC in the years 2003 to 2008.

In 2013, Mauricio pursued a postgraduate degree in Strategy and Management at Universidade Estadual de Campinas, which they completed in 2015.

Following this, in 2015, they attended the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, completing an Executive Program in Design Thinking.

In 2016, Mauricio joined Fundação Dom Cabral to pursue a Professional Masters in Administration (MPA), specializing in Innovation, Management, and Leadership. Mauricio completed their MPA in 2018.

In 2017, they attended Singularity University to participate in an Executive Program in Silicon Valley, focusing on Exponential Technology and Grand Human Challenges.

Recently, from 2021 to 2023, Mauricio Bueno has been pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Human Resources Development Policies from the University of Lisbon.

In addition to their academic pursuits, Mauricio obtained a certification in Private Equity & Venture Capital from Insper in July 2019.
