Dave Olsen

Dave Olsen has over 25 years of experience in the field of survey engineering and technology management. Currently serving as Principal Product Manager at Wenco International Mining Systems since November 2010, Dave has also held roles as Principal Technical Product Manager, Senior R&D Manager, and Manager of High Precision Applications and Hardware Development, focusing on software development for machine guidance applications and new hardware platforms. Prior to this, from January 1994 to November 2010, Dave was the Chief Technology Officer at Challenger Geomatics Ltd., where responsibilities included software development for survey tools and navigation software, alongside training Russian navigators on seismic navigation software. Dave holds a B.Sc. in Survey Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Diploma in Surveying from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
