Sarah Herringshaw

Sarah Herringshaw has extensive experience in the field of meat science and quality assurance, currently serving as Director of Restaurant QA at The Wendy's Company since July 2014. Prior roles include Quality Assurance Group Manager for Core Protein Products and Product Manager at the same company. Sarah co-owned Casper Flats Premium Meats from October 2017 to December 2020. Previous academic positions include Meat Science Academic Specialist at Michigan State University, where coursework and extension work were focused on meat evaluation and food safety training. Other experiences encompass roles as Meat Science Laboratory Manager at the University of Wisconsin and Graduate Teaching Assistant at South Dakota State University. Sarah holds a Master’s degree in Animal Science with a focus on Meat Science from South Dakota State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Sciences from The Ohio State University.
