Dominic Somers F.R.S.A is an experienced creative director and producer with a strong background in arts and events management. Currently serving as Co Creative Director for the Festival of Thrift and as a Freelance Creative Producer and Consultant for Wentworth Woodhouse, Somers has previously held key positions such as Arts and Events Officer for Barnsley Council, where significant events were developed to boost local engagement post-lockdown. Somers has contributed to various cultural initiatives, including the Wentworth and Elsecar Great Place project, the Ted Hughes Project, and has extensive experience within theatre and arts education through roles at TheatreWorks and the University of Bath. With a BA in Theatre from Falmouth University, Somers showcases a commitment to fostering community engagement, promoting quality arts practices, and enhancing cultural heritage.
