Emma Roback (nee Behrman)

Director of HR at Wenzel’s

Emma Roback (nee Behrman) has a diverse work experience in the field of Human Resources.

Emma started their career as an HR Administrator at Clarins in 2005 and later worked as an HR Officer from an unspecified date until 2011. From 2011 to 2017, Emma served as a Human Resources Manager at Clarins, where they also acted as the Head of HR for 10 months. During this time, they managed a team of 10 and worked closely with the Managing Director to deliver HR objectives and projects for a workforce of 2000 employees.

In 2018, Emma joined Gain Theory as a People and Culture Manager on a maternity cover role. Emma was responsible for implementing HR best practices, leading the people management strategy, and enhancing the workplace culture. Emma then transitioned to the role of Head of People and Culture, where they continued to support senior management and their teams in making data-driven, predictive business decisions.

Currently, Emma holds the position of Director of HR at Wenzel's the Bakers Ltd. In September 2019, they joined the company as the Head of HR, working closely with the management team to establish HR policies, procedures, and strategies in line with the company's overall strategy. Emma is responsible for both the day-to-day operations and the strategic aspects of the HR department, reporting directly to the CEO and overseeing a workforce of 650 employees.

Emma Roback (nee Behrman) began their education at UCL in 2000 and completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in French in 2004. Afterward, they pursued further education at Westminster Business School from 2008 to 2009 and obtained a Master of Arts degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General.
