Peter Poprady

Peter Poprady has extensive experience in the marketing and business development field. Peter currently holds the position of Director of Marketing & Business Development - Consumer at WEPA. Before joining WEPA, they served as the Group Commercial & Marketing Director at Slovak Hygienic Paper Group (SHP Group) from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, they were the Commercial and Marketing Director at Vajda-Papír Kft. from 2015 to 2018. Peter also worked as an Independent Contractor, specializing in FMCG and B2B sectors, from 2014 to 2015. Earlier in their career, they held various roles at SCA Hygiene Products, including Vice President Consumer Goods Eastern Europe and Region Director Region East.

Peter Poprady completed their high school education at Apáczai Csere János Gimnázium. Peter went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce at the College of Trade, Budapest (KVIF) from 1989 to 1992. Following this, Peter attended Corvinus University of Budapest, where they obtained a Master's degree in Economics from 1992 to 1996. Additionally, in 1994-1995, they participated in an exchange program at the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management, although the specific field of study for this program is unknown.
