Stefan Pfannkuchen has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Stefan began their career at Schreinerei Müller, where they worked as an Assistant to the Management and Environmental Management Representative from 1997 to 2000. In 1999, they joined Procter & Gamble as a Student Project Assistant, contributing until October 2002. In 2001, they briefly worked as a Student Project Assistant at Basler Mediengruppe AG. From 2003 to 2006, Stefan was employed at Kimberly-Clark, serving as a Process Engineer and later as a Technical Manager in Paper Processing. Stefan then joined WEPA Deutschland GmbH in Mainz in 2006, assuming the position of Technical Director for Paper Processing before becoming the General Operations Manager for Production and Technology in 2007. Since 2011, Stefan has been employed by WEPA, where they held various leadership roles, including Team Leader and Senior Team Leader of Process and Technology. Currently, Stefan serves as the Head of Corporate Technology (Engineering & Maintenance) at WEPA.

Stefan Pfannkuchen has a diverse education history. Stefan started their formal education at Freie Waldorfschule Trier in 1982 and completed their Sekundarstufe I or Mittlere Reife in 1994. From 1994 to 1997, they pursued a degree program in Möbel-Schreiner at Schreinerei Müller, Gusterath and successfully passed the Gesellenprüfung. Following this, they attended Fachoberschule Technik, Trier from 1997 to 1998, specializing in Bautechnik, and obtained their Fachhochschulreife. Finally, they pursued a degree in Kommunikationstechnologie-Druck at Universität und Gesamthochschule Wuppertal from 1998 to 2003, earning the degree of Diplom-Ingenieur.
