Jiajing Liao

Jiajing Liao has a work experience spanning from 2017 to the present. Their most recent role was as a Software Engineer at WePay starting in June 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Alibaba Group from June 2020 to August 2020. During their internship, they designed and implemented a B2B backend query system and worked on improving maintainability and scalability through various measures. They utilized technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, MyBatis, MySQL, Dubbo, RabbitMQ, Redis, Velocity, Maven, Docker, Git, and Linux. Before their internship, Jiajing was a Research Assistant at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China from June 2017 to December 2018. In this role, they developed AI Glasses for blind people, utilizing Machine Learning technology to recognize objects, human faces, and text. They also designed a faster image segmentation method using Python and TensorFlow.

Jiajing Liao completed a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science at the University of Florida from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, from 2016 to 2019, Jiajing obtained a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. In February 2020, Jiajing also obtained a certification as a Triplebyte certified Generalist Software Engineer from the institution Triplebyte.
