Pooja Sharma

Pooja Sharma has a diverse work experience. Pooja is currently working as a Software Engineer at WePay since April 2021. Prior to that, they were an IT Graduate Assistant at the University at Buffalo from January 2020 to February 2021. In this role, they updated websites, created forms and reports, automated processes using MS Excel VBA, and created database tables using MS Access for Immigration and Study Abroad applications.

Before their role at the university, Pooja worked at Infosys from June 2015 to June 2019. Pooja started as a Systems Engineer, where they launched an online platform for Dmart, a supermarket retail chain. Pooja developed various modules and tested them across different environments, successfully integrating them with the Warehouse Management System.

Pooja then advanced to the role of Senior System Engineer at Infosys, where they coordinated with multiple cross-functional teams, automated exception resolution processes, and enhanced report generation efficiency using complex Oracle SQL queries. Additionally, they led and supervised a team of juniors, providing training and support.

Finally, Pooja was promoted to the role of Technology Analyst at Infosys, where they deployed and tested applications as part of the Fedex-TNT project, and facilitated final testing with the client and a third-party team.

Pooja Sharma pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from Thadomal Shahani Engineering College from 2012 to 2015. Subsequently, they enrolled at the University at Buffalo and successfully completed their Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science between 2019 and 2021.
