Pete Martin

Pete Martin is the CTO and co-founder of WePlayed. Pete has been with the company for 5 years and 1 month and has held titles such as CTO, Head of DS & ML, and Co-Founder. Prior to WePlayed, Pete was a mentor at First Round Fast Track, where they helped early stage CTOs and heads of engineering navigate the exiting and challenging world of early start-ups, tech, and management. Pete was also the CTO at WePlayed, where they were part of the Indiana Techstars Sports startup accelerator. Pete is also a member of the VPE Forum and has been for 3 years and 1 month. Pete was previously the VP of Engineering at Pixability, where they were responsible for all aspects of the back-end architecture from the API to the run-time ad server. Pete then went on to be the VP of Engineering at Tremor Video, where they were responsible for a number of large migration and integration projects. Pete continues to stay hands-on and close to the code.

Pete Martin has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Software Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where they graduated with High Honors. Pete also has a Machine Learning Engineer Nanodegree from Udacity, an AdWords Fundamentals certification from Google, and a YouTube Audience Growth certification from YouTube. In addition, they are certified in SCRUM from the Scrum Alliance.
