Annemiek Smidts is a seasoned marketing professional with a diverse background in brand management and business engagement. Currently serving as the Senior Marketeer for Business Engagement at WWF Netherlands since November 2019, Annemiek also operates as an Interim Marketing Professional under A. Smidts since February 2019. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Brand Manager for Kwekkeboom and Van Dobben at Royaan BV since October 2014, and as Senior Brand Manager for Sultana at Koninklijke Verkade from November 2009 to June 2014. Previous positions also include Brand Manager at Unilever Benelux from December 2005 to November 2009. Annemiek holds a degree from the University of Groningen, along with additional education from AOG School of Management and Fotoacademie Amsterdam.
