Junhua Tan is the Head of Sensors at WeRide.ai, responsible for research, development, evaluation, production, and support for sensors in autonomous driving cars, including lidar, camera, radar, GPS/IMU, and ultrasonic sensors. Prior to joining WeRide, Junhua was a Senior Display EE Architect at Apple, where they led a cross-functional team in the development of key features for the next generation iPhone display, from architecture design and algorithms to prototyping and validation towards mass production. Junhua has also worked as a Senior Staff Design Engineer at Broadcom, leading analog front end design for Automotive Ethernet including 100Base-T1 (also known as BroadR-Reach) and 1000Base-T1, and as a System Engineer in Power Management IC and High Speed Interface IC at Texas Instruments.
Junhua Tan holds a Master's degree from Texas A&M University in Analog Circuit Design, which they completed in 2009. Junhua also holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Fudan University, which they completed in 2007.
