Joe Magno

Joe Magno has worked in the Information Technology, Nanotechnology, Biotechnology, Government, and Not-for-Profit sectors since 2009. Joe started their own company, Joe Magno, LLC, where they served as Managing Director and provided strategic advisory and business development services. In 2013, they were appointed Executive Director of the Center of Innovation Network and restructured the organization. Joe also served as Director of New Market Development at PCX Corporation in 2013. In 2015, they joined the National Nanotechnology Coordinated Infrastructure as a Board Member and the NC Works Commission as a Commissioner. Joe was an Advisory Board Member of the Research Triangle Nanotechnology Network in 2015 and a Strategic Advisor for Person County North Carolina in 2019. In 2017, they were a Business Development Consultant for Worldwide Environmental Services - WES and LigaTrap™ Technologies, LLC. In 2020, they were appointed Executive Director of the National Institute for Innovation and Technology.

Joe Magno attended Manhattan College from 1964 to 1969, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
