Brett Weil

Brett Weil serves as Vice President and Commercial Banker at WesBanco, having received recognition as the 2023 President's Club member and Q1-2024 Bankwide MVP for promoting accountability and stewardship through involvement with the Comptroller of Maryland's Financial Literacy Advisory Council. Prior to this role, Brett held positions at PeoplesBank, where accolades included the 2020 "Pursue Growth" award and two "COVID Hero" awards for facilitating PPP loans. Earlier career experience includes analysis and relationship management in commercial real estate at M&T Bank and greeNEWit, as well as various roles in construction and underwriting. Brett is currently pursuing further education at the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking and holds multiple degrees, including a B.A. in English with a Business Administration emphasis from UCLA and an MS in Finance from the University of Baltimore Merrick School of Business.
