Mohammad Arif

Mohammad Arif has extensive work experience in the field of information and cyber security. Mohammad is currently serving as the Group Cyber Security GRC & Assurance Lead at Wesfarmers, overseeing security operations for a conglomerate with annual revenue of A$ 30+ billion. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate Director at NAB, where they managed information security risks and controls.

Arif also has experience working as a Partner at ProVise Consulting, where they provided cybersecurity advisory services to organizations in the MENA region. Mohammad was responsible for guiding strategic and tactical direction on security programs and delivering thought leadership seminars.

Additionally, Arif held leadership positions at Dubai Properties, United Al-Saqer Group, and Help AG, where they developed information and cyber security strategies and architectures to support digital transformation. Mohammad also implemented IT governance, risk, and compliance programs and led certification initiatives for ISO standards.

Arif's earlier career includes roles at Boubyan Bank, Ahli Bank QSC, Max Life Insurance Company Limited, and Cadence Design Systems, where they focused on network and cyber security.
