Mel Ashkenazi has over 18 years of work experience. In 2003, they began their career as a Real Estate Agent/Marketer at Citi-Habitats Real Estate Co. In 2005, they moved to Starbucks Coffee Company as a Managing Supervisor- Daily Operations. From 2007 to 2012, they worked as a Preschool Teacher at Claremont Children’s School. From 2012 to 2016, they worked as a Self-employed Private Tutor, providing Private English Lessons. In 2016, they began working at Triton Online Services as a Customer Support and were promoted to Account Manager of international clients based in Australia, North America and Europe. In 2021, they worked as a Social Media Manager and in 2022, they began working as a Customer Service Representative at WeSki.

Mel Ashkenazi obtained a BA in American Studies from Suny Old Westbury between 2004 and 2008. Prior to that, they obtained an AAS in Criminal Justice from Nassau Community College between 2001 and 2003. In 2019, they obtained a Social Media Marketing Certificate from Yahav College in August. Mel also holds a TESOL Certification-- Teaching English as a Second Language.
