Namina Kamara, MSW, MPH, is an experienced professional with a strong background in public health and social work. Currently serving as the Regional Supportive Services Manager at Wesley Housing Development Corporation since March 2016, Kamara also owns Begonia Home Health LLC, which provides health services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and those with mental health diagnoses. Prior experience includes roles as a Child and Family Therapist for the City of Alexandria, Virginia, and as a Social Worker II and Discharge Coordinator at Northern Virginia Training Center. Kamara holds a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Master's degree in Public Health from George Mason University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from High Point University.
