Mark Teagle

Director Of Spiritual Formation, Community Engagement, And Music at Wesley United Methodist Church

Mark Teagle has an extensive work experience in the field of music and community engagement. Mark started their career in 1996 as a Music Director for SJ Children's Musical Theater. From 1999 to 2014, they worked as a Primary Music Teacher in the Cupertino School District. In 2002, they became the Director of Music Ministries at First Presbyterian Church, Santa Cruz, where they were responsible for various music-related activities and also had teaching and administrative duties. In 2005, Mark joined Good Samaritan UMC as the Director of Music and Engagement Ministries, where they oversaw music ministries and engagement activities. In 2014, they became a Music Teacher at Carden Day School and also took on roles as the Director of Spiritual Formation, Community Engagement, and Music, as well as the Choir Director at Wesley United Methodist Church. Throughout their career, Mark has demonstrated a passion for music and community involvement.

Mark Teagle holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary. Mark also earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Religion-Greek from Seattle Pacific University. In addition to their academic qualifications, they obtained a Level One Certification in Orff-Schulwerk from the American Orff-Schulwerk Association in August 2014.
