Kent Lawson

Kent Lawson is currently the VP of Casualty Claims at West Bend. Kent has over 19 years of experience in the insurance industry, starting their career at Capitol Insurance Companies in 2001. Kent then spent 6 years at Colony Specialty as a Senior Claims Handler and Claims Supervisor of 5 remote employees. In February 2017, they joined NSI - A Division of West Bend Mutual Insurance Company as the AVP of Claims. Kent was responsible for managing the claims division at NSI and reported to the home office. Kent has experience with claims in all states except Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.

Kent Lawson completed their Doctor of Law at Mitchell Hamline School of Law.

Kent Lawson reports to Kevin Steiner, President & CEO. They are on a team with Ryan Dove - AVP, IT, Security, and Technology, John Reyzer - VP, Commercial Underwriting, and Kelly Tighe - SVP, Sales.
