David Snell

David Snell is an experienced Instrumentation and Control Engineer currently working at West Burton Energy since September 2021, where responsibilities include front line problem solving, ongoing maintenance, and project implementation for DCS, PLC, and plant performance monitoring systems. Previously, David held various positions at EDF (UK) from August 2003 to September 2021, including Lead C&I Engineer, C&I Engineer, DCS Technician, C&I Technician, and C&I Craftsman. Notably, during tenure at EDF, David was involved in the new build CCGT project in Nottinghamshire and worked on water treatment and spare parts procurement for large areas of BOP, as well as completing an advanced modern apprenticeship at Cottam 2000MW coal-fired power station.
