Ryan Walton

Ryan Walton is an experienced IT professional with a robust background in technical support and infrastructure management. Currently serving as the Infrastructure Technical Lead at Piedmont Technical College since October 2022, Ryan has also held various roles at West Carolina Tel since May 2016, including Managed Services Technician II and Managed Services Team Lead. Previous experience includes roles as a Satcom Engineer at SES, where responsibilities encompassed maintaining computer infrastructure and managing databases, and as a DSCS/RHN Technician at ITT Systems, focusing on satellite transmission reliability. Additional experience includes teaching satellite communications concepts at Cubic Applications, INC, and extensive work with telecommunication systems at AMERICOM Government Services and Satellite Communications Facility GMF. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix.
