Matthew McMahon

Matthew McMahon is an accomplished academic in the field of economics, currently serving as an Associate Professor at West Chester University of Pennsylvania since August 2018, after previously holding the position of Assistant Professor there. Prior experience includes three years as an Assistant Professor at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and prior instructional roles as a Graduate Instructor at the University of Tennessee, where responsibilities encompassed teaching various economics courses and conducting research. McMahon's research experience includes work on predicting the health of the defense industry and biases in Bayesian updating, and has undergone extensive training with a Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics from the University of Tennessee, as well as dual Bachelor's degrees in Economics and Mathematics from Appalachian State University.
