Giyan Senaratne

Giyan Senaratne is the current Principal & CEO of West Coast Code Consultants. Giyan has over 25 years of experience in the engineering field and has been with West Coast Code Consultants for over 10 years. Prior to their current position, Giyan was a Business Unit Manager at Bureau Veritas from December 2004 to December 2005. From December 2003 to December 2004, they were a Principal - Minority Share Holder at Linhart Petersen Powers Associates (LP2A). Giyan started at LP2A in December 1994 as a Senior Plan Check Engineer and eventually became a Supervising Plan Check Engineer, Associate, and Senior Associate before becoming a Principal - Minority Share Holder.

Giyan Senaratne pursued a career in engineering, first completing a B.S. in civil engineering at San Jose State University and then an M.S. in structural engineering also from SJSU.
