Mathew Inness is a highly experienced High Performance Manager currently serving the West Coast Eagles, while also holding the position of Adjunct Research Fellow at Victoria University. With extensive expertise in sports science and physical performance, Mathew previously led the Performance department at the Western Bulldogs and was involved in the Malaysian Track Cycling Team as a Senior Strength and Conditioning Coach. Mathew's background includes teaching roles at Victoria University and significant positions within elite sports organizations, such as the WA Cricket and Williamstown Football Club. An accomplished academic, Mathew holds a PhD in Sport Science and an MBA, along with completing an Executive Leadership Program at the University of Oxford.

West Coast Eagles
The West Coast Eagles Football Club formed in August, 1986, playing its first official match for premiership points against Richmond in 1987. Our women's side played its first game for AFLW premiership points in February 2020 against Collingwood. Since then, the club has enjoyed significant success , winning premierships in 1992, 1994, 2006 and 2018. Based at Mineral Resources Park in Lathlain, West Coast boasts a proud tradition of success on and off the field which can be attributed to its many loyal members and corporate partners.
