Carrie Horton

Carrie Horton has extensive experience in project management and environmental conservation, currently serving as an S&RA Project Manager at PDA - Parenteral Drug Association since February 2022. Prior roles include Program Specialist at Girl Scouts Nation's Capital, where program resources were developed to support leadership experiences for girls in grades K-12. Carrie's background also includes positions as a Park Ranger and Supervisory Biologist with the National Park Service, where leadership and resource protection during the Deep Water Horizon oil spill response were key responsibilities. Additional experience consists of serving as Lead Protected Species Observer for LGL Limited in the Arctic and as a Fishery Biologist with NOAA, contributing to multiple research surveys. Carrie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Aquatic Biology/Limnology from St. Mary's College of Maryland and an Associate’s Degree in Biology from Hagerstown Community College.
