James Slater

James Slater has over two decades of experience in the materials and transportation industries. Currently serving as General Manager for Northern California at West Coast Sand & Gravel, Inc. and Resource Building Materials since February 2011, James also contributes as a member of the Board of Directors for the California Trucking Association since December 2009, where roles include Chairperson of the Executive Highway Policy and membership in various committees. Prior roles include Director of Operations at West Coast Materials, Inc. and Business Unit Leader at Material Sales Unlimited, Inc., alongside a marketing and sales position at Mitsubishi Materials USA Corp. James Slater earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from Biola University, after attending the University of California, Davis.
