Kenneth Hurst Sr.

Kenneth Hurst is currently the Superintendent at West Contra Costa Unified School District. With a background in education that spans over two decades, including roles as a teacher, principal, and associate superintendent, Kenneth is dedicated to making a difference in the world through education. Prior to their career in education, Kenneth served in the United States Marine Corps, with various roles including combat duty in Saudi Arabia and serving as a Drill Instructor. Kenneth holds a Doctor of Education degree from the University of Southern California, a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration from California State University San Marcos, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from the same institution.
