Amanda Mumford

Amanda Mumford is a dedicated wildlife biologist with extensive experience in ecological research and species conservation. Currently employed at Western EcoSystems Technology (WEST), Amanda conducts surveys for threatened and endangered species while previously serving as a staff scientist at SLR Consulting, where contributions included compliance assessments under various environmental acts. Amanda's background encompasses substantial fieldwork in wildlife research with the Alaska Department of Fish and Game and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, utilizing advanced data analysis skills with tools like ArcGIS Pro and RStudio. Additionally, Amanda has held educational roles, including a graduate teaching assistantship at the University of Alaska Anchorage, and has a strong foundation in wildlife biology with a Master of Science from the University of Alaska Anchorage and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan.
