Stella Lau

Stella Lau, Ph.D., is a senior manager at the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority, focusing on learning and public engagement programs at the Hong Kong Palace Museum since September 2020. Lau's interdisciplinary approach connects traditional art and culture with performing arts, popular culture, and technology, resulting in significant visitor engagement since the museum's opening. Prior experience includes roles as a research writer and visiting artist at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, as well as leadership and teaching positions at various educational institutions, including Hong Kong College of Technology, HKU SPACE, and Hong Kong Baptist University. Lau holds a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature from The University of Hong Kong and a Ph.D. from the University of Liverpool.
