Yanny Chan has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Yanny started their career as an Assistant Communication Manager at Chung Ying Theatre in 2006, where they stayed until 2009. Yanny then joined Theatre Noir as a Communications and Development Manager from 2010 to 2011. In 2012, Yanny worked as a Freelance Arts Marketer before becoming an Assistant Marketing Manager at West Kowloon Cultural District Authority later that year. Yanny quickly progressed to Marketing Manager, overseeing projects such as M+ and HKPM. In 2021, they became the Customer Experience Manager before assuming their current role as the Head of Marketing and Branding for the Hong Kong Palace Museum in September 2022.
Yanny Chan's education history includes various courses and programs from different institutions. In 2022, Yanny completed a short course on 'Strategy Execution' at Harvard Business School Online. The following year, in 2021, Yanny took a short course on 'Management Essentials' also from Harvard Business School Online. In 2019, Yanny attended a short course titled 'Contemporary Asian Art: An Insider's View' at Christie's Education. Yanny also attended the University of Hong Kong in 2015 for an Advanced Cultural Leadership Programme. Additionally, Yanny holds a diploma in Marketing from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing. Yanny obtained a postgraduate certificate in Translation from HKU Space. Furthermore, Yanny earned a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature, General from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Lastly, Yanny completed an Executive Diploma in Digital Marketing from The Hong Kong Management Association.
