Michael A. Brown

Michael A. Brown is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in law enforcement, education, and corporate consulting. Currently, Michael serves as a Corporate Consultant at Tri-Balance Consulting LLC, where responsibilities include training clients in self-awareness, self-defense, and conflict resolution. In addition, Michael has been a Criminal Justice Teacher at West Memphis Public Schools since August 2015, teaching courses in Introduction to Criminal Justice, Fundamentals of Law Enforcement, and Criminal Law, while also leading a unique program in the Delta Region. Previous roles include senior pastor and assistant track and field coach, as well as a 27-year career with the City of Memphis Police Department, where Michael progressed from uniform patrol to sergeant in various bureaus, culminating in service with the Homicide Bureau. Michael holds a BA in Political Science from Henderson State University, earned between 1981 and 1987.
