Dr Shani Dhanda

Dr. Shani Dhanda is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in promoting accessibility and inclusion across various sectors. Currently serving as the Chair of the Disability Working Group and a member of the Race Equalities Taskforce at the West Midlands Combined Authority, Dr. Dhanda focuses on enhancing equality of opportunity. In addition, Dr. Dhanda chairs the Disability Journalism Forum, managing initiatives to support disabled journalists, and leads Accessibility and Inclusion at ROAR B2B. Roles also include contributions to Transport for London's Advertising Steering Group, advisory positions with Trust for London and the Nuffield Foundation, and participation on the Cultural Advisory Council at ITV and the Disability Screen Advisory Group at the British Film Institute. Dr. Dhanda holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Event and Venue Management from the University of Wolverhampton.
