Nikesh Jani

Nikesh Jani is an accomplished professional in analysis and education with a diverse background in law enforcement and teaching. Currently serving as the Head of Analysis at West Midlands Police since August 2025, Nikesh previously held positions as a Senior Intelligence Analyst at Hertfordshire Constabulary and a Criminal Intelligence Analyst at Northamptonshire Police. Early career experiences include roles as a GSOC Intelligence Analyst and an Assistant Criminal Intelligence Analyst, along with teaching history and humanities at various educational institutions, including Avanti House Secondary School and Rushden Academy. Nikesh also has a strong commitment to youth engagement, having founded Young People's Achievements CIC and served in advisory roles to South Northamptonshire Council. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in International Security Studies from the University of Leicester and a Bachelor's degree in History and International Relations from De Montfort University.
