Tejinder Sandhu has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology and biomedical engineering. Tejinder started their career at University Health Network in 2000, where they served in various roles including Analyst, Senior Analyst, Team Lead, and IT Site Manager. In 2015, they joined West Park Healthcare Centre as the Manager of Information Technology and Biomedical Engineering. Tejinder later became the Director of Information Technology and Biomedical Engineering, leading a team of professionals and overseeing infrastructure management, application support, and technical and biomedical engineering support services. Tejinder played a crucial role in developing and implementing the hospital's IT strategy, resulting in improved patient care and operational efficiency. Tejinder also successfully led the migration of critical patient data and systems to a new platform, ensuring minimal disruption to clinical workflows.

Tejinder Sandhu obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biology from McGill University in 1995. From 1999 to 2000, Tejinder attended the Information Technology Institute (ITI) and completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Information Technology. Additionally, Tejinder attended Marianopolis College from 1993 to 1995, where they received a D.E.C in Health Science.

Tejinder has also obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2015, they earned a Lean Green Belt certification from the Ontario Hospital Association. They have also completed an Executive Development Project Management Course from the Schulich School of Business at York University. Furthermore, Tejinder holds a Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from Loyalist College of Applied Arts and Technology and has certification in ITIL and MS Biz Talk from Microsoft.
