Jaymie Wertz

Jaymie Wertz, MS, CHC has a diverse work experience in various roles related to regulatory compliance, healthcare, and pharmacy management. They are currently working as the Director of Regulatory Compliance & Human Factors at West Pharmaceutical Services. Prior to this, they served as the Principal of Regulatory Affairs - Marketing & Advertising at the same company. Before joining West Pharmaceutical Services, Jaymie worked as the Senior Director of Regulatory Strategy & Compliance at Base10 Genetics. They also have experience as a Consultant in Market Access & Reimbursement at Avalere Health and a Manager in Healthcare & Life Sciences Compliance Risk Advisory at KPMG US. Jaymie has also gained expertise in pharmacy compliance management and quality assurance through their roles as the Pharmacy Compliance Manager at MedStar Health and the Manager of Compliance Risk Assessment at CVS Health. They have also held various management positions at CVS Health, including Manager of Medicaid Quality Assurance, Manager of Pharmacy Performance, and Pharmacy Management Analyst.

Jaymie Wertz, MS, CHC has a strong educational background in regulatory science. They obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemistry from Wichita State University in 2010. In 2013, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Regulatory Science from The Johns Hopkins University, which they completed in 2015. Working towards furthering their education, they are currently enrolled at the USC Alfred E. Mann School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, seeking a Doctor (DRSc) degree in Regulatory Science, expected to be completed in 2025. In addition to their academic pursuits, Jaymie attended Cowley College, where they earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in 2005. They also have a certification as a RAPS Member from the Regulatory Affairs Certification Program, obtained in April 2019. Furthermore, Jaymie holds the Certified in Health Care Compliance (CHC) certification from the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA). Additionally, they have taken courses in Internal Audit & Risk Assurance at the Naveen Jindal School of Management, UT Dallas in 2020.
